Hey!!!! I am going to keep this a little shorter, because I need time to read and soak in every detail of the wedding that is going to be happening on Saturday!!!!!!!
So, I am serving in Winchester VA! I am in a trio with Hermana Orton and Hermana Alvarado! There is no branch here, we are trying our hardest to get one started. This means that church yesterday was in English and that the members we eat with are English speakers. I feel super uncomfortable! It is kinda funny! I don’t know what to say or how to act around them. Please pray that I can get over this culture shock that I am experiencing right now!
This week the Lord was really there for me and answered not only my prayers, but even my very thoughts! I know God loves us and that he knows us! This week I was so sad about leaving. I was sad for only having been able to serve in Frederick for 7 weeks, feeling like that was not enough time to have made a difference. Which made me feel like I hadn’t helped anyone and I was feeling down. As I was feeling like this last Monday, I get on my email to see that R. from Baltimore had emailed me! That lifted my spirits up! Then, on Tuesday I got a call from G. who moved to El Salvador! She wanted to see how I was doing and we were able to catch up! Then, while saying goodbye to everyone, I felt so loved! God knows exactly what we feel! He answers our prayers without us even asking!
I am so excited for you to get married Mom! I hope you know how much I love you all! You are amazing!!!! You will be in my prayers extra this week! :)
