MVP - Aug 10, 2015

Well, I have the most absolutely horrible news ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am getting transferred and I don't know where I am getting transferred to! Hermana Tinti and Hermana Cardona are going home on Wednesday. We are not getting any new Hermanas this transfer. Therefore, we are short two Hermanas and they need to close an area. For some insane reason they have decided to close Frederick! I AM SO SAD!!!!!!!!!! We were at the Branch Presidents house when we found out and we just started crying. It is super hard because we have been having SO MUCH success, SO MANY miracles! Less actives who haven't let anybody in their houses have been asking us to come over and feeding us. We got 7 investigators who are all very interested in learning more! The members have been getting SO INVOLVED in the missionary work. But, the Lord has a plan. Sometimes it is hard to accept it, but he has a plan. It is crazy how quickly you can grow to love people. I mean, I have only had the chance to serve here in Frederick for 7 weeks, but I don't want to say goodbye... to ANYONE! These people are like my family! I love them with all of my heart! I don't want to leave them! The worst part to is that the program thing that tells us where we are going to be serving isn't working! So, I don't even know where I am going to :(

We had another AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING week! I don't know where to even begin…

We had some great experiences with less actives in the branch! A. K., she is AMAZING!!! She has had lots of mental disabilities and issues in her life. She has to go to a psychiatrist and has lots of doctors appointments. This week she told us an amazing miracle. She went to see her psychiatrist, and when her doctor saw her, she asked what had happened. She said that she was not the same person and how she had changed so drastically and made such great improvements! A. told her that is was God and the church, that they had made her into a new person. Wow! The psychiatrist was just in shock and told her that she knew it was true, that there is no other explanation.

We met this super cute girl named S. She got baptized about 2 years ago. We finally got to meet her for the first time this week and we played futbol. IT WAS THE BEST!!! We played this pick up game in the park with these latino men. I am not sure what came over me, but I was actually playing good! I got voted MVP and made like 4 out of the 5 goals my team had :)

G. is the sweetest lady ever!!!!!! It was her birthday, so we stopped by to visit. She opened up to us and told us about family problems. She then told us that she wants to either find a new job, or she is going to quit working on the weekends so that she can come to church. She has been having health problems and she knows that she is running herself into the ground with all of her hours. She also can see the difference in her family and in her kids after not having gone to church. She invited us to come back later that night and she cooked for us and we had a birthday dinner together :)

We have the most AMAZING new investigator! He actually pulled his car over and contacted us! He told us that he was S.’s ex boyfriend, that he had visited our church before and that he wants to improve his relationship with God. SO COOL! We went over to L.’s house the next day and had a killer lesson! He told us that he wanted to cry! haha! I am bummed that we don't get to keep teaching him, but I know that the elders will do a good job!

A less active family that hasn't really wanted visits from missionaries, invited us over and fed us tacos de lengua :) And M. Q. came to church again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was another phenomenal week here in Frederick!

I wish I could tell you where I am going to…
I love you so much!

Pray for me! haha!

The Elders trapped us in... haha!
