This week was an interesting one. A lot different from ones that I have had in the past. But, amazing nonetheless :)
Well, we dropped all of our investigators. We had the cutest family, the C.’s, and T. & A. It was super hard to do, but it wasn't their time. They were not keeping their commitments, they weren't coming to church, they weren't home for our appointments. It is hard to stop teaching someone when you love them so much. I know that some day they will accept the blessings of the gospel :)
Because of not having any investigators, we were able to spend a lot of time with the members this week and get to know them more. One of the miracles of this was that we were able to get a TON of referrals! My whole mission it has been a struggle to get members involved in the missionary work. This week, we didn't even have to ask. We would walk into the houses of the members and within 2 seconds they were asking us to go and visit their friends, or brothers! It was super cool and we are praying we find some people, who are ready, prepared and excited about the gospel!!!
We also got to do a lot of street contacting this week! A cool experience we had while contacting was when I randomly, super randomly, started talking about the Book of Mormon. I had never done that before as a street contacting approach, and didn't know where it had come from. But he immediately invited us back and said he wants to read it. So amazing to feel the spirit working through you and giving you impressions, and courage you never could have had on your own.
Also, I am pretty positive the world is ending. There is this Hna in our branch, Hna C. She is the cutest little Mexican woman who has the most prophetic dreams I have ever heard. This week at lunch she told us that she has been having dreams that she cannot understand, and they are scaring her. She has been dreaming of there being huge rain storms, natural disasters, the whole shebang! Prepare yourselves because Hna C.’s dreams always come true!!!
