A Week FULL of Miracles! - June 1, 2015

BUENAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS WEEK WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! So many new things happened! I even feel a little lost because it basically felt like we were in a new area this week! haha! We found 4 new investigators and only met with less actives that we have never met before! Everything felt so new... it was exciting!

I hope that I can explain everything and that I can share some of the miracles that happened without being too confusing.

R: This lady is soooooooooooo cute! She is from Guatemala! I have never meet any people on the street who are from Guatemala, until I had Hna. Tinti as my companion. We are obviously suppose to be meeting these people! She is very faithful in her church, but, is really open to us coming over and wants to learn more. She has had the lessons before. We will see how it goes!

C: We went out with our branch mission leader, Hermano S. He is THE BEST! We had a really good cita with her! It is super awesome because she is looking for a church right now! She hasn’t found one that she feels comfortable in yet. The only problem is that she works on Sundays. She is super duper sweet!

A: She is a former investigator. Her tia is a member in the branch. The missionaries have had lots of problems with her in the past from things that she has done and situations that she has put them in. We haven't been allowed to teach her because her parents are VERY catholic and didn’t want us in her house and it was a huge mess when I got here. Our mission President told the past missionaries to not pass by anymore. But, yesterday Ana came to church. She is completely changing her life around. We went to her tia's yesterday and ate some AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING tamales. But here is the miracle. O. and A. told us that A.’s parents are happy that she is going to church. They are supporting her now and then, her parents let us in the house and we ate tamales with them!!!!

S: She is this super cute, TINY lady that we street contacted. She invited us over and loved the message that we shared! She was raised Catholic, but doesn’t know much about God. She wants to learn more and has started listening to Christian music to get closer to God. Her husband goes to la Iglesia de Emanuel.

P: He is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool and I am super sad that we have to give him to the elders :( We had biked to the cancha to play some pick up futbol, but nobody showed up. This is where we met P! His friends didn’t show up to play either, but I know that we were meant to be there and to meet! We had a lesson with him yesterday in the park! We talked about the spirit and he understood it and basically taught himself! We had a member there and it was just the ideal lesson! He likes to talk... A LOT! He said that he would be baptized when he knows the truth.

Family... SO MANY OTHER MIRACLES HAPPENED THIS WEEK!!!! We ran into people on the street that we had met before. The Lord led us, he guided us, it was AMAZING!!!!! I wish I could tell you about all of them, but I would be here ALL DAY writing!

I also know that the Lord is helping me to do things that I would never have done and that I never could do before my mission! Por ejemplo, this week Hermana Tinti and I sang in some of our lessons, we taught random people on the street about the restoration. I am just walking into strangers houses teaching them about the restored gospel and about Jose Smith, and I have never been happier! I got asked about 5 minutes before sacrament meeting to give a talk because the person that was going to give one didn’t show up. And I did it! Barely no preparation, and I gave a talk... in Spanish! Alma 26:12

LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More birthday pics from last week :)
